National Museum, Calabar
This was built in 1959. It is notable as home to the relics of slave trade including names of people that aided it, the currency of slave trade. The National museum calabar designed and built in Glasgow by colonial masters is home to souvenirs from slave trade. Come in to educate yourself about the history of our forefathers.
The National Museum was once a British governor’s house. It is situated in Calabar, cross river state & presents unique artifacts & historical heritage.
While exploring the museum, you will be presented a sight of the furnishings that the Europeans made use of during the slave trade and colonial period. Also, you can explore constitutions in their original documents as used in a large library placed there.
